I'll be honest - I was really concerned the day of the Linville family's shoot. It was a week ago, when we had those ridiculously strong winds. BUT we took a risk and met up in the West Bottoms in Kansas City. If you're not familiar with the West Bottoms it's the historic industrial area. There are some really unique old buildings and lots of fun textures. ANYWAYS, we got down to the West Bottoms and luckily the wind gave us a break. We got some amazing shots! Take a look. Short little story I'd like to sneak in here. As I was taking Mom&Dad's couple shot they started cracking up! I turned to see their son and their umbrella having a fight with a gust of wind. I love capturing kids, just being kids. :)

I recently completed a very inspiring chalk mural for Netsmart Technologies. Netsmart is dedicated to saving 10,000 Minds. The 10,000 Minds Project, is a suicide prevention awareness program. Netsmart provides resources towards this program that include Education on suicide awareness, Teamwork during suicide awareness walks, Comfort for any employees who need counseling and Awareness to assist bringing the issue to the forefront. For more information on what Netsmart is doing to raise awareness go to www.ntst.com. View the mural progress in the video below. We have had some BEAUTIFUL fall color this year. I wanted to capture some of it. So my friend Rogue Radiance, a KC Pin-Up model offered to model for me on a brisk fall morning. Beautiful morning, beautiful shots, beautiful model!
