She has killer style; tons of great fashion tips; she's The Crazed Chameleon! Kristin, a fashion blogger and stylist, is “on a mission to encourage women to step outside their comfort zones and try something new and versatile that adds personality to their wardrobe without sacrificing style.” We met down in West Des Moines, Iowa at Historic Valley Junction for a few hours, walked the streets and found some amazing backdrops to showcase some of her style and personal brand. I loved every single one of these images, and it’s hard to hold back on showing them all… but here are a few favs to give everyone a little taste. You’ll just have to follow her blog The Crazed Chameleon for a chance to see more!

This shoot is a little different from my normal sessions that I post on my blog, but it's actually something I have a lot of experience in. I've been working as a graphic designer in the animal health industry for over 8 years. Often that entails a variety of different photo shoots and product photography. Usually my branding/design is separate from my photography, but on occasion I get the opportunity to take on a branding photography shoot that is so adorable I just have to share it here on my photography blog. Let's Go Fido came to me with a request to shoot branding and product photography for their new and improved Let's Go Fido walking bag. This session was so much fun, and had the cutest models.
You can find out more about Let's Go Fido and their walking bag by visiting their website www.letsgofido.net or by following them on Facebook. Throw-back Thursday... LOL! Okay - so this session hadn't made the blog until recently. Why? This was actually a shoot for a magazine spread! ProfitBuilder Magazine, which is an animal health product publication produced by Durvet, Inc, had me shoot the soon-to-be engaged couple Kassie and Raleigh with their beautiful horses, Boy and Sierra. The publication was published summer of 2016! This shoot was a little tricky because the session took place during the late morning hours, we had ZERO cloud coverage, and it was in the summer! We had to battle some hard light, dense shade with no in-between... but overall the shoot ended up being pretty cool! Our equine friends cooperated wonderfully and at the very end we had some play time with the cutest little puppy you ever did see, Cowboy! Not a bad work day, if I do say so myself. XOXO, CALLISTA These photos are the property of Durvet, Inc. Originally published in ProfitBuilder Magazine Summer 2016.
