"Sometimes in the waves of change, we find our true direction."
It certainly has been a spell since I've last updated my blog. So much has happened the past few years, I think we can all agree it's been quite a trip! When the pandemic first hit, my husband and I had already been planning on expanding our family. It was something we had to consider postponing, not knowing what the future would hold for us - there were a lot of what ifs. But ultimately, we decided that this was our time and we didn't want to put our life on hold. Cue Little Miss Moira. She came into our lives a lot sooner than we expected her to - in more ways than one. Arriving 2 weeks early, she really threw a wrench into my announcement plans and website updates! The dust has settled and I'm finally getting back into the swing of things, just in time for Autumn portrait season.
What started as a very gloomy, rainy day... ended in smiles and warm embraces. Little Rhodes entered the world over a month ago now, and boy is he one lucky little guy. He has two AMAZING big sisters and a mommy and daddy who adore him. There were so many shots from this session that I wanted to share, but I narrowed it down to just a few of my favorites. Enjoy!
Welcome to the world baby Harold! Kara and Samuel welcomed a new addition to their family in late spring. This little guy is only a month old, but as you can see he's a very serious and adorable little guy! His big brother Edmund is not ready to give up the limelight, he really gave us a run for our money... as toddlers always do! We managed to squeeze a few smiles out of him – and it’s worth every silly dance I performed. They are both such smart and sweet little boys. For this session we ended up taking advantage of the weather clearing up after a raining morning and had some fun in a beautiful green space down the street in their neighborhood. Enjoy the photos and these two cuties. :)
