Matthew is one of those young men, as soon as you meet him, you know he will go on to do great things. I met Matthew and his family at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, downtown Kansas City. If you haven't visited the museum, you need to. This museum is one of Kansas City's gems. It's free to the public and the campus is gorgeous. Matthew and I strolled around grounds just before sunset, talked about his ambitions... he is way more ambitious than I. We captured some great shots and some amazing final sunlight. Congratulations Matthew! Well done and best of luck.

This guy… has the patience of an angel.
Due to all the storms we’ve been having we had to reschedule his senior session on multiple occasions! We were down to the wire, he was graduating from high school the following Saturday, but we made it. The weather took pity on us and we took a trip downtown to Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts for some more formal shots and then down to Art Alley to take advantage of the beautiful graffiti art. I got to chat a bit with Trent during our stroll through the area, and he is a real upstanding guy. He has a bright future ahead. Congrats Trent! Oh boy! Exciting post ahead! We have not one... but TWO graduates featured on the blog today. Wowzers! Joe and Jess, as they are both graduating from The University of Missouri this year decided to have a joint senior portrait session together. It was such a treat for all involved and we were blessed with a gorgeous day! We started our evening at Shelter Gardens in Columbia and then ended with some collegiate photos at Jesse Hall on campus. These two are pretty special! Enjoy their session.
