The Callihan Family

'Tis the season for family pictures! As we get closer to the end of the year and holiday season we tend to see more families having portraits taken to take advantage of the cooler weather and convenient daylight hours. The Callihans did just that, sneaking in an end-of-the-season session with their two little girls. We ended up breaking this session into two weekends so we could optimize our time getting some portraits of the girls without exhausting them. Sometimes this is the best way to go about your family portraits when you have multiple small children, and I am more than willing to work with my clients and their schedule to make it easier and more accommodating for them. While it was a little brisk, the weather was reasonable with some beautiful mid morning light for our outdoor shots. We used natural and artificial studio lighting for the indoor portraits.
