The Lightfoots

I've only been back for a bit, but I've been diving right back into my old routines. First up, The Lightfoot family! You may recognize the cutie below from an earlier session - baby Mae is a year old ALREADY! Whoa, does time fly by or what? I'm amazed by how quickly these little ones grow. As a new mother myself it really tickles me how mind blowing the most simple things are for these new little beings. The smell of a flower, or the texture of grass... it's all completely new... and all equally as amazing! To look through there eyes and see what they see - it truly is a joy.
We started this session off by visiting one of our favorite local spots, Water Fall Park in Independence, Missouri. We took a gamble, as thunderstorms were expected later than morning, and we won! The overcast created a beautiful glow and the foliage at this time in late May was just full, green and full of blooms. A perfect outing for the family and a perfect day for family portraits!
